硝子工房 Craft-U (Glass Studio Craft-U) is a Japanese artisan glass-studio located in Kashiwazaki City, Niigata Prefecture. Founded in 1991 by glass-maker Yasunori Tokuma after decades in the heat-resistant glass industry, the studio specialises in hand-crafted burner-work (バーナーワーク) to produce refined, thin-walled, heat-resistant glass tableware. Each piece is designed for daily ritual and longevity — not fleeting fashion — and speaks to the craft-maker’s dedication to quality, transparency, and timeless design.
