“Yarnnakarn” means to continue to establish the correlation between the idea of nostalgia and the passage of time.
Yannakarn studio was founded in 2010 by Karin Phisolyabut. The name “Yarnnakarn Arts & Crafts Studio” was created by his sister, Prim, who works with him in their family business. In Later years, this family business joined local craftsmen in the area, and Karin’s family members all work together in our home studio in Bangkok.
Ottott designs and creates a wide range of lifestyle products using ottchil, the traditional Korean lacquer. Just as the objects we use daily can shape our emotions and state of mind, Ottott aspires to convey the warmth and vitality of wood and lacquer through its creations. Each piece is crafted with care and sincerity, with the hope that this sense of harmony and well-being is passed on to those who encounter Ottott’s products.
